Chuck Banks retired from the CIA in 2012 after 33 years – 10 as a senior executive – leading government and military organizations, supporting international operations, and providing executive level strategic direction. Chuck currently leads High-Stakes Logistics, LLC providing consulting services, training, and keynote public speaking on leadership, international logistics, crisis operations, and interagency collaboration and communications.
He has conducted seminars for the National Security Agency, Central Intelligence Agency, and US Special Operations Command staff while also consulting with private sector clients – Fortune 500 companies to startups – on operational logistics.
Chuck began his career as a US Army medic before joining CIA. With 10 years of service abroad based in Europe, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia, Chuck specializes in leadership, covert action, operational logistics, and interagency collaboration.
His CIA career began with field logistics responsibilities for one of CIA’s largest paramilitary efforts while serving in Pakistan in the 1980’s, and he led a large-scale counterterrorism train and equip effort in the Middle East for partner nation security in the 1990’s. He provided the strategic direction for the successful logistics channels for CIA’s post 9/11 mobilization to Afghanistan and Iraq from 2001 to 2003.
After retiring from CIA, Chuck developed an expeditionary logistics capability for Booz Allen Hamilton, before launching his own High-Stakes Logistics firm in 2015.
